Did you know that almost all Seiko, Casio & Citizen are now assembled in factories outside Japan like Korea, Thailand or China?
Only the movement of the watch is Japan made.
If you are looking for Japan made, then you must look for the model number with a “J” instead of “K” or we will state it in the title or description. But if you are shopping at a retail stores, you would likely see on the watch’s dial that it is made in Japan.
Now what’s the difference between models? With “J” and “K”?? ie. (SKX009K1 and SKX009J1) For the “K” model, it is only the watch’s movement part is Made in Japan, and these watches are assembled and manufactures in neighboring countries outside Japan. The “J” Model on the other hand is 100% Made/Assembled/Manufactured in Japan.
